As a Project Engineer specialising in Laboratory Billing, you will implement and configure Clinisys solutions supporting German laboratory invoicing and reimbursement workflows. This role requires practical knowledge of KV and KBV billing processes and is intended for candidates with direct experience of specialist laboratory billing.

Requirements

  • Practical experience of German laboratory billing, invoicing and reimbursement processes.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of KV and KBV billing requirements within the German healthcare environment.
  • Experience configuring billing, invoicing, LIS, LIMS or comparable healthcare software.
  • Understanding of laboratory processes and the relationship between test workflows, billing rules and invoice generation.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, system testing, validation and customer implementation.
  • Fluent German and professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver implementation services covering requirements analysis, gap-fit workshops, billing configuration, testing and validation support.
  • Analyse laboratory invoicing workflows and translate KV/KBV requirements into appropriate software configurations.
  • Configure billing rules, customer and payer requirements, invoicing processes and associated laboratory workflows.
  • Manage assigned project tasks or small implementation projects, documenting decisions, risks and progress.
  • Deliver customer training, project handovers, system updates and upgrades.
  • Work with Project Management, Customer Services, Support, Development and Sales to resolve billing-related requirements.
