About The Position

As a Project Engineer specialising in Genetics Solutions, you will implement Clinisys laboratory software for customers operating within genetics and molecular diagnostics environments. You will combine knowledge of genetics laboratory workflows with system configuration and customer-facing project delivery. Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in genetics, molecular biology, biomedical science or a related discipline.
  • Practical knowledge of genetics and/or molecular diagnostics laboratory processes and terminology.
  • Experience implementing, configuring or supporting LIS, LIMS or comparable laboratory software.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and translating laboratory workflows into software configurations.
  • Knowledge of testing, validation and controlled implementation processes within laboratory environments.
  • Fluent German and professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver implementation services, including requirements analysis, gap-fit workshops, system configuration, testing and validation support.
  • Analyse genetics laboratory workflows and translate customer and operational requirements into effective system configurations.
  • Manage assigned project tasks or small implementation projects in line with agreed plans, budgets and customer requirements.
  • Identify functional and technical risks, propose mitigation measures and keep the Project Manager informed of progress.
  • Deliver customer training, project handovers, system updates and upgrades.
  • Document implementation activities accurately and provide support to Customer Services, Support and Sales when required.
