About The Position

Mycronic is seeking an experienced Project Engineer, Key Accounts, to join their Global Technologies division within the Applied Plasma business line (Surfx Technologies). Surfx Technologies specializes in atmospheric argon plasmas for high-volume manufacturing in industries like integrated circuits, semiconductor packages, and printed circuit boards. These automated plasma machines are used for surface cleaning, activation, and metal oxide removal, resulting in products with enhanced durability. The company serves leading semiconductor manufacturers and technology firms. The Project Engineer will act as the primary client contact throughout the entire project lifecycle, fostering strong partnerships through on-site visits and coordinating internal resources to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with project management for B2B equipment
  • Expert proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Project, and the core Office suite
  • Skilled in communication through global time zones
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clear project status at every stage from PO entry to arrival at customer dock
  • Ensure proper part number entry, configuration/mix of components, ship to destination, and timing needs are understood and communicated internally and externally
  • Connect and orchestrate the road map for continuous improvement and feature requests
  • Provide proactive and regular updates on open PO's during production
  • Fast-track special requests from customers, integrating them into our active development roadmap
  • Ensure transparency during quality or lead time challenges by providing honest, timely updates, and clear, date-driven action plans
  • Interpret drawings, manage submittals, and prepare technical documents like Request for Information (RFIs)
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and coordinate with subcontractors and field staff

Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Expected range is $120,000.00 - $145,000.00.
