About The Position

Mycronic is seeking an experienced Project Engineer, Key Accounts, to join their Global Technologies division, specifically within the Applied Plasma business line (Surfx Technologies). This role is crucial for a fast-growing company that provides atmospheric argon plasma solutions for high-volume manufacturing in the microelectronics industry. The Project Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their entire lifecycle, building strong partnerships through on-site visits and coordinating internal resources to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded. Requirements

  • Bachelor's in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with project management for B2B equipment
  • Expert proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Project, and the core Office suite
  • Skilled in communication through global time zones
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clear project status at every stage from PO entry to arrival at customer dock
  • Ensure proper part number entry, configuration/mix of components, ship to destination, and timing needs are understood and communicated internally and externally
  • Connect and orchestrate the road map for continuous improvement and feature requests
  • Proactive and regular updates on open PO's during production
  • Fast-track special requests from customers, integrating them into our active development roadmap
  • Ensure transparency during quality or lead time challenges by providing honest, timely updates, and clear, date-driven action plans
  • Interpreting drawings, managing submittals, and preparing technical documents like Request for Information (RFIs)
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and coordinating with subcontractors and field staff
  • Hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented while able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 10-20% travel requirement
  • Willingness to meet with customers during Asia business hours
