About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer, Key Accounts, to join Mycronic's Global Technologies division working within our Applied Plasma business line (Surfx Technologies). Surfx Technologies is a fast-growing company that offers atmospheric argon plasmas for the high-volume manufacturing of integrated circuits, semiconductor packages, printed circuit boards, and other microelectronic devices. These automated plasma machines are an excellent choice for surface cleaning, activation, and metal oxide removal. The Surfx team delivers this atmospheric argon plasma technology for assembled products that are less likely to corrode, delaminate, or come unglued during their lifetime. Our customers include the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers and technology companies. The Project Engineer, Key Accounts serves as the dedicated point of contact throughout the entire client lifecycle. This role builds strong partnerships by conducting on-site visits to gain deep project insight and strategically coordinates internal resources to consistently exceed client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in engineering (mechanical or electrical preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with project management for B2B equipment
  • Expert proficiency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, Project, and the core Office suite
  • Skilled in communication through global time zones
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clear project status at every stage from PO entry to arrival at customer dock
  • Ensure proper part number entry, configuration/mix of components, ship to destination, and timing needs are understood and communicated internally and externally
  • Connect and orchestrate the road map for continuous improvement and feature requests
  • Proactive and regular updates on open PO's during production
  • Fast-track special requests from customers, integrating them into our active development roadmap
  • Ensure transparency during quality or lead time challenges by providing honest, timely updates, and clear, date-driven action plans
  • Interpreting drawings, managing submittals, and preparing technical documents like Request for Information (RFIs)
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and coordinating with subcontractors and field staff
  • Hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented while able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • 10-20% travel requirement
  • Willingness to meet with customers during Asia business hours

Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Expected range is $120,000.00 - $145,000.00.
