Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft O365 software suite.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

• Exceptional problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and strategize longer term projects

Responsibilities

• Supports development and qualification efforts of aircraft evacuation slides
• Manages small to moderate sized projects including but not limited to system development and qualification, hardware design, testing, and processing as part of a cross-functional team
• Conducts root cause analysis and drives robust corrective actions for evacuation slide manufacturing and fielded product
• Conceptualizes and prepares preliminary and final detail design and documentation of evacuation systems components and assemblies
• Participates in defining engineering approaches and in planning and scheduling work
• Supports engineering material review board (MRB) dispositions for non-conforming product
• Coordinates the building and testing of prototypes
• Performs financial analysis of a project's design components
• Works with Systems Engineer to plan and execute requirements validation and verification and assess impact to qualification basis when design changes are made
• Supports prepares of presentations on program status, milestones, risks, mitigation plans, etc. at regularly scheduled program reviews
• Supports customer meetings for multiple customers
• Supports successful completion of an assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
• Executes projects in accordance with the RTX Lifecycle Program Management
