About The Position

We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Project Engineer to lead an Integrated Product Team (IPT) at the forefront of advanced heat exchanger technology for high-performance aerospace engines. In this role, you’ll influence design, drive development from concept through delivery, and play a key part in shaping innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams or IPTs in a technical environment.
  • Prior experience in project management, including scheduling, and cost estimation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in product development, thermal systems, or heat exchanger
  • Experience in aerospace or high-performance engine systems, including manufacturing/production support and customer-facing engineering (e.g., technical proposals and program reviews)
  • Hands-on experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) for program performance tracking and reporting
  • Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving
  • Experience with prototype development, testing, and validation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Project

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to the IPT, ensuring defined requirements and milestones are met, and that significant risks are identified and mitigated
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
  • Support and resolve in-service component issues
  • Manage assigned component budgets and proactively identify and report any issues or scope changes that may impact cost or schedule
  • Report team progress, key obstacles, and solution strategies to customers and engineering leadership
  • Develop and deliver detailed engineering design review presentations, as well as internal program and customer reviews
  • Own all activities related to component hardware verification testing, including identifying test facilities (internal and external), developing detailed test plans, overseeing execution, and generating test reports
