The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with administrative duties associated with the project, material releases, vendor follow-up, coding invoices for A/P, routine correspondence, field dimensioning, change orders, submittals and labor and delivery schedules. This role also involves managing shop drawings, coordinating deliveries, visiting job sites, maintaining logs, preparing manuals, and assisting with monthly billings and cost projections. Additionally, the Project Engineer is responsible for managing and implementing safety requirements, promoting a positive safety atmosphere, coaching employees, ensuring safety deficiencies are corrected, reporting injuries, and planning safe deliveries.
