About The Position

The Project Engineer provides construction administration, document control, and project coordination support to the Project Managers, Supervisor, and Senior Director. This role is responsible for coordinating HCAI regulatory documentation, construction document processing, consultant coordination, meeting administration, invoice and pay application routing, and maintaining complete project records from initiation through closeout. The position serves as a critical administrative resource for multiple concurrent projects by managing document control systems, maintaining accurate logs, routing approvals, supporting contract and financial documentation, and facilitating timely communication among internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies. Requirements

  • Strong organizational and document-control skills with the ability to establish, maintain, and improve filing systems, logs, trackers, and project workflows.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare construction administration.
  • HCAI regulatory documentation, including processing, tracking, and maintaining project records to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with Project Managers, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, HCAI Staff, Inspectors of Record (IOR), Contractors of Record (COR), owners, and internal departments.
  • Strong attention to detail in tracking approvals, document versions, invoice support, and financial backup documentation.
