This position primarily involves working on-site at the project location or in office. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on the role and project timeline. The Project Engineer (PE) is vital in keeping our processes moving along and assists in the execution of project plans. This role will be responsible for specific activities such as coordinating material onsite delivery dates, maintaining RFI, submittals, and change order logs, and will serve as a key point of contact for internal customers. The role offers a career development path to project management, working directly for a project manager or project executive on a team that partners with field, engineering, and design teams. It's an opportunity to learn about electrical construction and gain knowledge from various team members, including journeymen and general foremen. In addition to on-the-job experience and mentoring, there are opportunities for vendor off-sites and training classes.
