About The Position

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Electrical Project Engineer to support their heavy civil infrastructure division in the Metro NYC area. This role is part of the Project Management Team, responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure timely and cost-effective outcomes. This includes budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling. The Project Engineer will ensure projects are constructed safely, ethically, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Responsibilities may vary based on project size and complexity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5 years of prior relevant experience working on electrical SOWs on large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.
Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution.
Broad job knowledge of technical or operational practices within the assigned discipline.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee projects to ensure a timely and cost-effective outcome.
Manage budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of projects.
