About The Position

You will be the Project Engineer Development Vehicle Systems - Level 4 for the F-35 Line of Business Engineering (LOBe) team which is responsible for advancing vehicle‑systems development within the F‑35 program. As the Project Engineer Development Vehicle Systems - Level 4 you will be responsible for shaping technical scope, cost, and schedule while partnering with Program Management and the Domain Excellence (Dex) team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years professional experience in a related discipline
• BS in Engineering or alternative STEM major with technical experience
• Project Engineering / Project Management / Technical experience
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

• EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and/or CAM (Control Account Management) experience
• Experience in Vehicle Systems and/or fuel systems development lifecycles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Perform EV analysis at the contract level and assess impacts on overall engineering.
• Translate contract technical scope into clear alignment with program objectives and strategy.
• Communicate technical issues across management levels and drive resolution through detailed closure plans.
• Identify cross‑contract gaps and recommend pragmatic solutions.
• Spot risks and opportunities, then lead the development of closure plans through technical leadership.
