This role involves working closely with the Project Engineer and Engineering team on both Accounting Operational Plan (AOP) Capital projects and Long Range Plan (LRP) projects. The position requires developing scopes of work and project details, considering employee safety, food quality, and financial aspects including ROI models. Collaboration with factory package owners is essential for developing projects and master plans. The role also includes ensuring proper training for technicians and operations personnel on new systems, providing assistance to engineering on design and installation, and managing communication between factory installations, vendors, and factory IS systems. Responsibilities extend to communicating spare parts lists and preventive maintenance suggestions to the Maintenance Manager and Planners, minimizing costs, and adhering to the KHMS process for engineering. Coordination with the plant ammonia team for mechanical integrity and ammonia projects to ensure OSHA compliance is also a key function. Participation in the Pay For Knowledge Program is expected, along with other assigned duties.
