About The Position

H2M is actively seeking a Project Engineer in our Electrical Department to support our growth in a variety of market sectors. This role is responsible for project design and development tasks, including drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications related specifically to public and commercial building types. The position involves the design of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm. It also requires project coordination with other engineering and architecture departments, client relationship management, and construction administration, which includes attending project meetings, reviewing contractor submittals, and providing clarifications. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
  • 5+ years of experience with a consulting engineering firm designing power, distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems
  • High level of technical performance with strong work ethic
  • Ability to work productively and cooperatively with team members and clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • EIT, PE preferred
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Easy Power desired
  • Experience with IT infrastructure and network communications a plus.

Responsibilities
