About The Position

The Project Director will provide project management oversight for federal grant(s), ensuring performance monitoring, budget adherence, and compliance with contractual and funder expectations. This role involves developing detailed work plans aligned with grant goals, collaborating with internal and external teams, and facilitating workgroups. The Project Director will track initiative progress, analyze and present data, summarize outcomes, and oversee quality improvement processes. Responsibilities also include ensuring grant documentation compliance, overseeing recruitment and hiring in collaboration with HR, and participating in staff meetings and trainings. This is a grant-funded position with an anticipated end date of 9/29/31.

Requirements

  • Minimum Master's degree or above in behavioral health.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in program management in the behavioral health field.
  • 5-10 years’ experience managing large scale projects, preferably with federal grant administration and operational oversight.
  • CT state licensure as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT or Ph.D., preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous CCBHC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management oversight of federal grant(s), including monitoring performance, ensuring operation within budget expectations, ensuring compliance with contractual expectations, and funder expectations.
  • Develop detailed work plans consistent with grant goals.
  • Collaboration with teams inside and outside of the agency related to assignments.
  • Effectively facilitate workgroups, managing and supporting teams.
  • Track progress for assigned initiatives, analyze and present data.
  • Summarize outcomes and present findings, improvements, and ideas in a concise way.
  • Oversee quality improvement processes related to assigned responsibilities and participate actively in agency wide quality initiatives and monitoring processes.
  • Ensure that requirements for grant documentation are in compliance.
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, hiring and performance evaluation in collaboration with Human Resources Department for assigned responsibilities.
  • Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
  • Additional duties as required.
