About The Position

Kent is looking for a Project Director who will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the projects from initiation to completion. This includes planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, budget, and schedule. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineering teams, contractors, and clients, to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field and 15+ years relevant experience.
Significant related project management experience working for Engineering/Client organizations in the O&G industry and/or Low Carbon Energy Transition industry.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.

Nice To Haves

Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Lead project teams in executing project plans and ensure adherence to established timelines and budgets.
Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
Maintain effective communication channels with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to ensure project success.
Coordinate with HR and project managers to secure necessary personnel for the project.
Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications.
Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and clients.
Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety within the project team.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management, within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role.
