About The Position

The Project Director manages restoration and construction projects from estimating through closeout, with overall responsibility for delivering work on time, within agreed specifications, and to high quality standards. The role uses Xactimate and other professional estimating software, construction knowledge, and understanding of project costs to develop accurate scopes and estimates and support profitability. The Project Director works with clients, adjusters, subcontractors, business development teams, internal leaders, and delivery teams. The position provides leadership for safe and efficient project execution, monitors performance, addresses challenges, and balances quality, schedule, customer expectations, and profitability. The role also supports marketing, business development, and collection activities, and responds to project needs 24/7.

Requirements

Leadership experience in construction or restoration.
Knowledge of construction documents and large loss projects.
At least 3 years of industry experience.
High school diploma.
Four certifications.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
Disaster restoration experience.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from start to finish, including crews, subcontractors, and schedules.
Prepare budgets, estimates, and scopes of work, and maintain profit margins.
Oversee daily jobsite operations, safety, and documentation.
Review and approve subcontractor proposals and change orders.
Collaborate with operations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Maintain client deliverables and project records in Salesforce.
Conduct mitigation assessments and develop project plans.
Buy out jobs with qualified subcontractors and communicate and present estimates and scopes of work.
Work with clients, adjusters, subcontractors, business development teams, and internal leaders to move projects forward.
Support marketing and business development efforts and partner with those teams on collection activities.
Provide leadership and direction to delivery teams, ensuring work meets First Onsite standards and applicable legislative requirements.
Monitor project performance and address challenges.
Respond to project needs 24/7.
