About The Position

Smithers is a leading global independent market intelligence and testing provider to the packaging supply chain. We are recruiting packaging industry professionals with a background in B2B market intelligence to lead consulting projects with clients across the supply chain. Work with our clients to build market data models, identify opportunities and support the development of strategy. Use your experience, knowledge and intelligence in new and creative ways to find solutions to client needs.

Requirements

Experience in the packaging industry
Market intelligence background
Naturally inquisitive and curious
Excellent communication skills
Confident developing proposals that meet client needs

Responsibilities

Build market data models
Identify opportunities
Support the development of strategy
Proactively develop models and assumptions when data is limited (sizing markets for the first time)
Analyze data and communicate findings
Develop proposals that meet client needs
Be an industry thought leader - present at conferences and conduct interviews with trade press and associations
Make actionable recommendations to inform strategy across the packaging supply chain
Develop and engage a network of C-Level contacts in the packaging industry
