This position is ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT FULL-TIME ANNUALLY PAID PARKS EMPLOYEES. Under general direction, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, the Project Development Coordinator will perform difficult and administrative work for Bronx Operations. This role involves working closely with the Chief and Deputy Chiefs of Bronx Operations, preparing and tracking various reports, and performing data analysis on park operations. The coordinator will manage databases, improve data collection processes, conduct surveys, organize meetings, and manage special projects. They will also provide technical and administrative support to borough managers and supervisors, produce division communications, and serve as a liaison to other divisions and external agencies. Additionally, the role requires coordinating with Information Technology & Telecommunications (ITT) on technology and infrastructure, assisting with wireless phone issues, and maintaining Emergency Preparedness documents. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
