About The Position
The Project Detailer is responsible for creating piece component drawings for precast concrete elements. The Project Detailer works closely with Project Designers and Project Engineers to support the maintenance of project requirements and deadlines. The position will provide the individual with the opportunity to understand many areas of the organization, including Production, Field, Sales, Quality, Safety, Engineering, and Design, to learn the Mid-States business from the ground up.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree with a specialization in AutoCAD Drafting/Design or related field
- Previous experience working in the precast concrete industry
- 3D Modeling in Solidworks, Tekla, and/or Revit
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Responsibilities
- Complete on time & accurate production drawing
- Prepare Material Lists for production hardware
- Collaborate with project team for successful completion of assignments
- Work closely with production, purchasing, and installation teams to resolve project issues
- Proactively work with Project Management to create tools to increase productivity
- Support additional Design Team initiatives as assigned
