The growing Miami studio is seeking a Project Designer / Project Design Architect to contribute to world-class hospitality, resort, and mixed-use destinations, transforming client aspirations into compelling architectural experiences through global collaboration.

Requirements

  • 9–11 years of professional architectural experience, ideally focused on hospitality, resort, and destination design.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Licensed or registered architect (AIA, RIBA, ARB, or equivalent preferred).
  • Experienced in hospitality programming, guest experience planning, and luxury destination design.
  • Skilled in visual storytelling and the communication of design concepts.
  • Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization tools.
  • Experienced with BIM workflows and design coordination.
  • Comfortable presenting design ideas to clients, consultants, and project teams.
  • Knowledgeable in technical detailing, construction documentation, consultant coordination, and project delivery.
  • Familiar with sustainable design principles, materials, and construction systems.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across diverse cultures, teams, and project locations.
  • Strong communicator who can balance creativity, technical rigor, and client expectations.
  • Passionate about design excellence, innovation, and creating memorable places.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Grasshopper and computational design experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for hospitality, resort, and mixed-use projects from early visioning through project delivery.
  • Contribute to all phases of the design process, including conceptual design, spatial planning, presentations, detailed design, and construction documentation.
  • Translate client briefs, operational requirements, and brand narratives into compelling architectural experiences.
  • Create drawings, models, renderings, and visual presentations that clearly communicate design intent.
  • Participate in client workshops, meetings, and presentations, helping guide design discussions and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design continuity throughout project phases.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to integrate design intent into practical, buildable solutions.
  • Support technical detailing, consultant coordination, and documentation efforts.
  • Review drawings, shop drawings, and project deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with design objectives.
  • Participate in site visits and construction administration activities to maintain design integrity during implementation.
  • Mentor and support junior designers while contributing to a collaborative studio environment.
  • Conduct research on design trends, hospitality experiences, sustainability, materials, and emerging technologies to elevate project outcomes.
  • Contribute to proposal development, design competitions, and business development initiatives where appropriate.
