About The Position

We are seeking a Project Delivery Manager to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA. We hire passionate innovators who drive healthcare forward through thoughtful and inclusive collaboration. This fully remote role provides day-to-day leadership, supports occasional early meetings based on time zone and global meeting needs, and may require limited travel or onsite attendance for specific client meetings or audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences and/or related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in clinical trials/ hospital-funded research, project management or laboratory environment
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and the company systems, or equivalent experience with similar Centralized Laboratory systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Project Services processes, the company laboratory processes, and/or equivalent working knowledge of central laboratory operations preferred
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to develop and lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and client management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of assigned staff in line with organizational policies and applicable regulations
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members while supporting performance management and professional growth
  • Build strong client relationships and serve as a liaison between sponsors, internal departments, external vendors, and project teams
  • Ensure studies are planned and executed in accordance with FDA, ICH, and/or EMEA guidelines and Good Clinical Practice
  • Report team productivity, quality, and performance metrics against contract, client expectations, and project baselines to management
  • Participate in customer meetings, bid defense activities, and employee engagement initiatives that support operational success
  • Support a fully remote working model with flexibility for occasional early meetings, limited travel up to four times per year, and onsite attendance for specific client meetings or audits when needed
