About The Position

Requirements

  • Analyst II: 2+ years renewables project or utility project experience
  • Analyst III: 4-6 years of renewable project experience or 3+ years utility project experience
  • Analyst, Sr.: At least 6 years of renewables project or utility project experience
  • Very good documentation, technical writing, and organization skills.
  • Solid understanding of Document Management Skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with COGNOS, POWER BI, Maximo, and Power Plan.

Responsibilities

  • Support project development by establishing cost baselines.
  • Create forecasting models.
  • Analyze accrual versus spend.
  • Contribute to deliverables for stage gate and funding approvals.
  • Understand contracting structures (lump sum, fixed prices, T&M, etc.) and commercial agreements.
  • Ensure forecast aligns with the project schedule utilizing milestones.
  • Identify cost risks and opportunities through the project development life cycle.
  • Provide clear insight into contingency allocation.
  • Utilize COGNOS, POWER BI, Maximo, and Power Plan to perform monthly forensic cost analyses.
  • Interpret output and develop presentations from the data set (where applicable).
  • Demonstrate strong documentation, technical writing, and organization skills for document control and readiness for ROD requirements, prudency review, deposition hearings, filing for PSC Change Order Process, and other legal requirements.
  • Display a solid understanding of Document Management Skills.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety through active participation in safety meetings, safety inspections, and field observations where applicable.
