Requirements
- Analyst II: 2+ years renewables project or utility project experience
- Analyst III: 4-6 years of renewable project experience or 3+ years utility project experience
- Analyst, Sr.: At least 6 years of renewables project or utility project experience
- Very good documentation, technical writing, and organization skills.
- Solid understanding of Document Management Skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with COGNOS, POWER BI, Maximo, and Power Plan.
Responsibilities
- Support project development by establishing cost baselines.
- Create forecasting models.
- Analyze accrual versus spend.
- Contribute to deliverables for stage gate and funding approvals.
- Understand contracting structures (lump sum, fixed prices, T&M, etc.) and commercial agreements.
- Ensure forecast aligns with the project schedule utilizing milestones.
- Identify cost risks and opportunities through the project development life cycle.
- Provide clear insight into contingency allocation.
- Utilize COGNOS, POWER BI, Maximo, and Power Plan to perform monthly forensic cost analyses.
- Interpret output and develop presentations from the data set (where applicable).
- Demonstrate strong documentation, technical writing, and organization skills for document control and readiness for ROD requirements, prudency review, deposition hearings, filing for PSC Change Order Process, and other legal requirements.
- Display a solid understanding of Document Management Skills.
- Demonstrate commitment to safety through active participation in safety meetings, safety inspections, and field observations where applicable.
