About The Position

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Project Accountant to join their team. This role involves managing and processing project finances, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and supporting project managers and finance teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and contribute to transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed. The work location is flexible, including a mix of remote, client site, or Accenture office work, with an emphasis on in-person collaboration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ professional services invoicing experience with Deltek Vision

Responsibilities

  • Setup new projects in Vantagepoint and process change orders.
  • Conduct project setup calls with PMs and billers.
  • Ensure revenue is recognized correctly at all levels and establish Target ELM with PMs.
  • Review vendor invoices and code consultant/subcontractor payments.
  • Setup contracts/projects/tasks in the accounting software.
  • Produce draft invoices for review and submission according to client requirements.
  • Complete required client forms.
  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and manage outstanding WIP.
  • Submit contracts requiring certified payroll reporting information.
  • Close contracts and ensure all revenue is recognized with PMs & Finance Manager.
  • Upload/submit information for audit payments.
  • Work with insurance brokers to obtain Certificates of Insurance (COI).
  • Process adjustments with Project Managers.
  • Work with regional managers on operations including contracts, projects, WIP, receivables, and resources.
  • On-board new employees and provide training for timesheets & expenses.
  • Assist regional managers with proposals related to employee hourly rates.
  • Assist VP, Operations Controller with standardizing processes and procedures.
  • Assist Finance Manager with FAR audits.
  • Support F&A with the monthly close process.
  • Complete ad hoc requests from regional managers, Finance Manager, Operations, or F&A.
