About The Position

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting construction project execution through labor timekeeping, cost coding, document control, procurement coordination, and project administration. This position helps ensure accurate project reporting, compliance, cost tracking, and record management while serving as a key link between project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Project Management, Accounting, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in project administration, project coordination, construction administration, project controls, payroll/timekeeping, procurement, or document control.
  • Experience processing labor timekeeping records, payroll support activities, cost coding, job costing, or workforce reporting.
  • Experience with material purchasing, purchase order administration, inventory management, or vendor coordination.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation, including RFIs, submittmits, correspondence, meeting minutes, and project records.
  • Knowledge of construction project management processes, project reporting, labor tracking, cost control, document control, and records management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn project management, document control, procurement, and timekeeping systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, auditing, and administrative coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process field labor timekeeping records.
  • Verify cost coding accuracy.
  • Coordinate with field leadership to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support payroll and workforce reporting activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, correspondence, meeting records, and project files, ensuring information is current and accessible.
  • Assist with material purchasing, purchase order administration, inventory tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • Update project management systems.
  • Ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to successful project execution through effective organization, communication, and administrative coordination.
