Project Coordinator-TN

Allied ModularNashville, TN
$65,000 - $70,000Hybrid

About The Position

Allied Modular Building Systems is a premier modular building manufacturer seeking a driven, relationship-focused Project Coordinator. This role is not a paper-pushing coordination role; instead, a Project Coordinator is an owner who manages projects from sales handoff through client sign-off. The role involves owning the project budget, schedule, client relationship, and outcome, protecting profitability, driving communication, anticipating problems, and leading stakeholders to a successful result. The company builds prefabricated, precision-manufactured, and fast-to-deploy modular structures. Project Coordinators manage complex, multi-phase projects involving manufacturing, logistics, permitting, and field installation, coordinating closely with the Installation Manager and Project Administrators to deliver on time and on budget. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment where ownership is real and impact is visible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator responsible for managing scope, timelines, budgets, and delivery of complex products or services.
  • Background in manufacturing, modular, prefabricated structures, industrial, or similar product-delivery industries strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with city and municipal permitting processes is a plus.
  • Ownership mentality — treating every project as if your name is on the bottom line.
  • Outstanding communicator — proactive, clear, and consistent with clients and internal teams alike; responding within 24 hours, always.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — anticipating, planning, and adapting.
  • Natural relationship builder — earning trust with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized — catching things others miss and following through on everything.
  • Proficient with technology — Microsoft Office, project management software (Workfront a plus), and ERP/CRM platforms (Business Central a plus).
  • Team player and mentor — willing to share knowledge and help junior team members grow.
