About The Position

DroneShield is seeking a Project Coordinator with relevant experience to join the U.S. operations team. This position will report to the US Program Manager and represents an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual in a new niche but exploding market. The Project Coordinator will coordinate and drive customer delivery activities across demonstrations, installations, training, and post-delivery support. This role retains core project management fundamentals but is intentionally operational and execution focused. Many activities do not arrive as fully defined projects, and priorities can evolve based on customer requirements, operational constraints, and resource availability. Success is achieved through judgement, coordination, and action — not through rigid process alone. Reporting to and working closely with the US Program Manager, this role acts as the central coordination point between Sales, Field Service Engineers (FSEs), Engineering, Logistics, and Operations to ensure customer delivery activities progress effectively.

Requirements

  • BS degree in relevant technical discipline and/or 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and practical experience
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment to accomplish customer deliveries and collaborating with a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in US government contracts or program management preferred
  • Previous experience working in the US Defense industry is highly favorable. Relevant experience working in other industries is also favorable

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between the program team and customer requirements
  • Support customer demonstration readiness and execution, including scheduling, equipment readiness, scenario coordination, and on-site support
  • Support the US Program Manager with delivery status reporting, risk identification, and issue resolution
  • Identify delivery friction points and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and tools
  • Develop and maintain delivery reports for incoming and outgoing equipment
  • Demonstrate experience as a primary point of contact for projects and/or contracts
  • Travel up to 25% of the year
  • This role requires flexibility to support customer delivery activities that may occur outside standard business hours
  • Activities may include on-site demonstrations, installations, and coordination with international stakeholders
