About The Position

The Project Coordinator must be familiar with pre-construction and sales, contributing to our success and growth by owning the sales to operations hand-off, developing relationships, and supporting the sales and operations team. Must be detail oriented, passion for creativity, pickup on sales and systems, and desire to grow with the company.

Requirements

Extensive project management / coordination experience required.
3 or more years of experience with construction software systems.
5 or more years of experience in a coordination role with a preference in construction.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Proficient in both Oral and Written communication.
Communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork.
Proficient with MS Office suite of software, easily pickup on new technology and software packages.
Ability to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
Results-driven and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Procure materials, subcontractors and ensure proper handoff of project to Operations team.
Manage preparation of deliverables for all project phases.
Create project scope statements, create, and submit submittal packages, identification, and execution of any pre-construction change orders.
Identify and process permits, prevailing wage forms and tax exemption certificates.
Track and identify opportunities for efficiency, i.e., project material buy-outs.
Document control: receive, file, track and distribute all construction documents.
Subcontractor/Supplier coordinating - submittals, RFI’s, preconstruction meetings and schedule development.
Perform project take-offs. (Maps)
Collaborate with team members to align on cost, scope, and schedule.
Estimating small projects; developing scope, customer interaction, cost, and total project sale.
