About The Position

The Project Coordinator (PC) plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of projects by managing day-to-day coordination, tracking progress, and maintaining organization across teams. Working in partnership with the Project Manager, the PC helps ensure projects stay on schedule, meet quality standards, and run efficiently. This is a highly tactical, detail-oriented role focused on keeping projects organized and moving forward, enabling the Project Manager to focus on strategic leadership, client management, and overall project direction.

Requirements

  • Ability to prepare and interpret schedules and step by step action plans.
  • Strong organizational skills; including multi-tasking and time management.
  • Knowledge in project scheduling software.
  • Proven work experience in project coordination or project management.
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively with other project leaders.
  • Intermediate knowledge of design, design trends, construction methodology, material applications, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in a project coordination, drafting, production, or construction-related role
  • Experience working in a multi-project, deadline-driven environment
  • Exposure to architectural and/or engineering documentation, construction processes, or project workflows
  • Experience supporting project teams, including coordination between multiple disciplines (architecture, engineering, production)
  • Familiarity with project tracking, scheduling, and documentation processes

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of multiple projects by tracking schedules, deliverables, and key milestones
  • Maintain project organization, including documentation, file management, and communication tracking
  • Perform regular check-ins with drafting, engineering, and project teams to monitor progress and status
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and delays to the Project Manager in a timely manner
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or issues impacting timelines, quality, or deliverables
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules and ensuring alignment with established timelines
  • Support meeting coordination, including preparation, note-taking, and follow-up on action items
  • Help ensure projects align with Fieldstone’s quality standards and processes
  • Assist in monitoring project performance, including progress against scope, schedule, and budget
