About The Position

The Project Coordinator supports the Canadian assurance quality network and will play a central role in driving the execution and continuous improvement over quality monitoring and risk management initiatives across the assurance practice. This is more than just a coordination role — it is an opportunity to act as a program operator and catalyst, bringing structure, discipline, and forward momentum to the firm’s most critical quality initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Act as the central point of contact for the group to ensure that quality controls, initiatives and monitoring programs are executed efficiently and productively.
  • Co-lead, coordinate and participate in team meetings with active follow up on action items by tracking progress against deadlines and regular follow up/contact with group members.
  • Support the execution of firm-level quality controls and monitoring activities by preparing program summaries, executing key controls and co-ordinating control execution across the assurance practice, including tax, consulting and valuation service line members that support assurance quality.
  • Proactively tracks and reports quality control and monitoring activities and related results.
  • Key facilitator of communication among team members and integrates information into a central knowledge repository.
  • Provides various administrative support for new and ongoing quality and monitoring initiatives.
