About The Position

This role is a full-time, on-site position at a BAE Systems facility, requiring 100% of work to be conducted on location. The company works on advanced electronics in the aerospace and defense industry. The Project Coordinator will support multiple engineering teams by providing administrative, documentation, and process support to ensure seamless project execution. This includes non-technical documentation support, parts ordering, general inquiry and problem-solving, application/tool support, and coordination of program tasks. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting fast-paced teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years work experience.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and format engineering documentation.
  • Interface with technicians, engineers, and engineering managers to create/edit documentation.
  • Verify change requests are in the proper state and implemented into documentation.
  • Provide tools expertise and support to Engineering: MS Office Apps, requirements capture databases, change management and tracking tools.
  • Generate reports as required.
  • Support preparation of presentations.
  • Assist in the collection of metrics and prepare presentation materials for analysis.
  • Assist Project Engineers with various project management tasks.
  • Assist in tracking action items, risk management tools, and tasks in change management tools.
  • Support the Bid & Proposal process, assisting in bid narratives and bid reviews.
  • Administer the engineering change management process, including facilitating stakeholder reviews.
  • Assist in managing classified laboratory needs, including secure data transfers.
  • Act as primary focal and liaison for program support, across engineering and other departments.
  • Network with both internal and external personnel at multiple levels in own area of expertise.
  • Order and kit parts.
  • Coordinate builds with various labs and operations.
  • Track hardware assets.
