About The Position

A mid-sized manufacturing firm in South Seattle is seeking a Project Coordinator for a 6-month contract-to-hire position. This role requires full-time onsite presence from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. The position demands a pre-employment drug and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of new customer programs from contract award through production readiness, including detailed planning, risk assessment, and milestone tracking.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to translate customer specifications into actionable internal plans.
  • Coordinate the setup of new part numbers, routings, work instructions, tooling/masking requirements, chemical processing parameters, and quality controls.
  • Facilitate internal and external kick-off meetings, program reviews, and gate reviews to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Track and report on program status, risks, issues, and key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, first-pass yield, and cost performance.
  • Support customer communications regarding program milestones, changes, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, customer, and quality requirements during program launch.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lessons learned to enhance future program integrations.
  • Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for new programs across multiple facilities.
