About The Position

National Capitol Contracting (NCC) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support program operations, administrative processes, and cross-functional coordination across a dynamic national enterprise environment. This role serves as a central point of contact for documentation, logistics, communications, and governance activities, ensuring teams have the resources, access, and information needed to operate efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, manages multiple priorities effectively, and demonstrates strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (not required to start)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, program support, operations, or administrative management
  • Experience managing documentation, records, and access control processes
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting government, defense, shipyard, or highly regulated environments
  • Familiarity with CAC, VAR, site badging, or security/access procedures
  • Knowledge of travel and training approval workflows within a PMO environment
  • Experience working with vendors and managing external partnerships
  • Exposure to project management methodologies or certifications such as CAPM or PMP
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, or process documentation

Responsibilities

  • Documentation, support, and processing of CAC, VAR, and shipyard specific clearance / access protocols for program employees
  • Provide records management and tracking for badging and site access
  • Support and process travel and training requests, approvals, and verifications in coordination with NCC's PMO
  • Coordinate vendor training and maintain vendor relationships
  • Serve as a communications and coordination hub for program tasks, logistics, and governance using collaboration tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Organize, track, and distribute work aids, policy guides, and data system or analytic briefs to ensure consistency and transparency across a national enterprise
