About The Position

Working as a Full-time Project Coordinator, you will work in our FMI (Fastenal Managed Inventory) Technology department, coordinating the product lifecycle and FMI technology projects for our industrial vending machines, bin systems and other FMI technology devices. You will be responsible for managing activities such as information discovery, collecting and reviewing documentation for accuracy, generating product planograms and coordinating configuration and implementation activities through communication with internal and external team members while working towards achieving department goals and objectives and providing world class service and support to the field and our customers.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Nice To Haves

• Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Operations, Communications, Marketing or a related field of study OR have administrative, customer service or industry related experience and product knowledge

Responsibilities

• Managing the project lifecycle of multiple supply chain technology projects
• Communicating with all project stakeholders via phone, email and video communication
• Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure deliveries are met in a timely and accurate manner
• Reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance with submittal standards
• Maintaining accurate records and project tracking
• Demonstrating knowledge of business offerings, products, processes and standards
