About The Position

Support multiple functional areas across the Division, gaining exposure to federal contracting operations within an Alaska Native Corporation (ANC) participating in the U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development Program. This role is designed as a structured, developmental position that combines administrative coordination, project support, and professional growth. Assist in the daily management of office operations, support contract-related activities, and contribute to internal and external communications, while building foundational knowledge of government contracting and organizational functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or enrollment preferred.
  • Experience in administrative, project coordination, or office support roles.
  • Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily administrative and operational functions of the Division to ensure efficient office performance.
  • Assist in coordinating activities across contracts, compliance, operations, and business development functions.
  • Provide administrative support to service programs and Division personnel on assigned projects.
  • Support internal and external communications, including coordination with offsite personnel and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, and purchase requests; track basic financial and project-related documentation.
  • Maintain organized program and project records.
  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple work activities to meet deadlines.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, customers, and partners.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work under general supervision with increasing independence over time.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
