About The Position

The Project Coordinator for AST Project Management Team coordinates and supports projects from initiation through completion, working with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all deliverable scope.

Requirements

  • 3+ years working experience in project coordination.
  • Diplomas or professional certifications in a related curriculum.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating projects.
  • Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-pace, high-impact environment.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are required.
  • Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work through shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
  • Exceptionally high level of commitment to the success of projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take and successfully pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and facilitate project meetings internally and with customers.
  • Attending customer meetings, recording meeting minutes, manage and track action items and deliverables.
  • Review BOM, assemblies and work order release instructions to ensure accuracy and meet contractual requirements.
  • Release work orders into production, and coordinate with purchasing on releasing status and incoming part schedules.
  • Gather and maintain required project documentation.
  • Conduct material delivery reviews and elevate to PM if delivery dates will impact milestones.
  • Coordinate customer site visits.
  • Prepare for customer visits, print and organize qualification protocols, and ensure site is ready for customer activities.
  • Conduct electronic folder maintenance and final project close paperwork filing.
  • Develop, maintain and administer projects punch lists and action items.
  • Prepare project slide show presentations for management review.
  • Record non-conformance findings, release work orders for repairs, and track them to completion.
  • Upkeep key performance indexes and prepare monthly summaries.
