About The Position

The Decision Advantage Business Area at Leidos has an opening for an experienced Project Coordinator available in Northern Virginia, Orlando. Our team supports the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network and supporting infrastructure. The Project Coordinator will be involved in day to day activities and strategic long-term maturation of complex systems. The Air Force program is a top modernization priority for the DAF and will be the backbone of a network-centric approach to battle management in partnership with all the services across the Department of Defense.

Requirements

  • At least two years of relevant professional experience as it relates to this position.
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
  • Ability to take vague direction and implement to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed/remote team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience with software development teams and agile methodologies.

  • Experience with coordinating team and volunteering events.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (i.e., Jira and Confluence).
  • Experience with Concur (or similar travel system), Costpoint/Deltek, and Workday (or similar Finance/HR systems), including familiarity with FAR-compliant travel, purchasing, and expense processes.
  • Familiarity with Leidos systems, processes, or prior internal experience is highly valued.
  • Active DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct administrative and operational support to program leadership, including coordination of program reviews, customer engagements, and strategic planning activities.
  • Coordinate day-to-day program operations, including tracking action items, deliverables, and key milestones across multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain and track program data, reports, and inputs from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with internal Leidos teams and functional partners (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, Facilities) to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate logistics and asset management for government- and company-furnished equipment (e.g., laptops, monitors, system access) to ensure staff readiness.
  • Support travel planning and expense reporting in Concur in accordance with corporate policies and FAR-compliant practices.
  • Facilitate onboarding and staffing activities, including tracking start dates, coordinating orientation logistics, and supporting interview scheduling.
  • Organize and support team engagement initiatives, including site events, employee activities, internship coordination, and community outreach efforts.
  • Coordinate visitor access and support facility-related logistics in partnership with building management and security teams.
  • Maintain office and program operational readiness, including supply coordination and general administrative support.
  • Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and provide recommendations to leadership to improve program execution, staff engagement, and overall team effectiveness.
