Performs administrative and operational duties associated with coordinating assigned projects and related activities within a department. This position is integral to our team's success, ensuring smooth operations and effective collaboration within the division. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with accuracy and consistency. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a variety of internal and external partners. Experience providing high-level administrative support is essential, including procurement processing, payroll coordination, vendor communication, contract and invoice management, records maintenance, and handling confidential personnel-related matters. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other workflow and data-management systems, with the ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support complex procurement, fiscal, and operational activities for the division. Strong communication and customer service skills are required to effectively support section leadership, field staff, Human Resources, fiscal teams, and vendors while helping ensure efficient and consistent division operations. This position requires flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing priorities and support emergency operations when needed, including lift station call management, alarm dispatching, and escalation activities during storm events or emergency activations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, contribute to process improvements, and foster a positive, collaborative, and solutions-focused work environment aligned with the division's mission and operational goals.
