The Project Coordinator will be an integral part of the I-10 Bridge project team in Lake Charles, Louisiana, a public-private partnership (PPP) involving Plenary, ACCIONA, and Sacyr. This role requires expertise in Document Control, Submittals, and administrative support to ensure project compliance, efficiency, and organization, working closely with the SPV Leadership Team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project coordination and administrative support within the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management and contract administration practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency working with workflows in a Document Control Software.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure construction projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of DBFOM and PPP project delivery methods a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review and ensure timely compliance with all contract Submittals and Reports.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all contract documents, amendments, and correspondences.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of reports on contract status, performance metrics, and issues.
  • Maintain a Document Control System (DCS) to store and record all correspondence, design inputs, drawings, progress reports, technical reports, specifications, and Submittals.
  • Monitor incoming Document Control mail box for action items.
  • Code all outgoing correspondence through the DCS.
  • Provide daily office management and minor IT support to the SPV Leadership Team.
  • Develop and update project documents and reports.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items.
  • Manage both incoming and outgoing project documentation utilizing the Project Document Control System.
  • Ensure all documentation is organized, accessible, and up-to-date.
  • Create Logs for tracking RFI’s and Review Comments on Submittals.
  • Manage the Developer’s Administrative Offices.
