About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support Project Managers in the execution of complex industrial projects. Based in Houston, TX, this role plays a critical part in ensuring projects move efficiently by coordinating materials, tracking schedules, supporting procurement activities, and maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting. The Project Coordinator works closely with Project Managers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, accurate financial tracking, and effective communication across all projects stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a project coordination, operations, procurement, or administrative support role
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or engineering environments preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and basic financial tracking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools is a plus
  • Ability to track multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, follow-up-driven mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable supporting multiple Project Managers in a fast-paced environment

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to Project Managers across multiple active projects
  • Assist with tracking project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Follow up on internal and external communications to ensure timely responses and action items
  • Support coordination between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and field teams
  • Obtain pricing and lead times from vendors and suppliers
  • Assist with issuing purchase orders in accordance with project requirements and internal procedures
  • Track material procurement status and monitor on-time delivery of critical components
  • Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies
  • Assist with project cost tracking, budget updates, and financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate project documentation within ERP and project management systems
  • Support Project Managers with change tracking, cost impacts, and reporting inputs
  • Schedule, coordinate, and attend project meetings as needed
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture meeting minutes, and track follow-up action items
  • Maintain organized project files, correspondence, and documentation
