About The Position

This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians. We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in El Paso, TX covering San Antonio, Austin and El Paso markets. In this role you will be responsible for managing and tracking permits, approvals, and regulatory documentation required for projects. This role serves as the liaison between internal project teams and external agencies to ensure projects remain compliant and on schedule.

Requirements

  • Prior knowledge or experience with aerial and underground telecommunications construction and network operations required
  • Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for project build process
  • Familiarity with municipal permitting processes and workflows
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Ability to learn new software efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes
  • Open to a variety of schedules; evenings and/or weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel daily; up to 50% travel requiring overnight stays as needed
  • Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves driving
  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of permitting or regulatory coordination experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with local, state, and federal agencies
  • Coordinate with planning, zoning, building, and environmental departments
  • Maintain permit logs, status reports, and project documentation
  • Review drawings and project documents for permitting completeness
  • Communicate permit requirements, timelines, and conditions to project teams
  • Respond to agency comments and coordinate resubmittals
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
