About The Position

Responsible for the management of cross-functional project teams to deliver objectives for new wine products and packaging enhancement projects. The Project Coordinator will manage and participate in projects to support the objectives of the Project Management Office. This role involves leading project teams from cross-functional areas such as Compliance, Winemaking, Procurement, Commercial, and Operations through the development of new or changing packages and products. The position also requires generating reports and analyses, participating in the revision of products, components, and production methods, and assisting in the qualification of new packaging suppliers and co-manufacturers. Maintaining product specifications and assisting in the development of new packages are key duties. Effective cross-functional communication of risks, trade-offs, and options is essential, as is reviewing art files and proofs for accuracy. The role includes providing back-up to other project manager team members, performing ad hoc analysis, and handling administrative duties such as managing Project Management Software and Sharepoint. A significant aspect of the role is to develop and improve processes with a focus on business needs rather than solely departmental processes. The individual must understand the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including the ISO Food Safety & Quality Policy, and report any problems with the food safety management system to their supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Four or more years’ experience as a Project Manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to gather information from multiple sources and distill it into concise reports and recommendations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Project.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with food or beverage, and/or packaging engineering industry a plus.
  • Experience with continuous improvement projects and/or methodology.
  • Experience with project management software a plus.
  • Experience using SAP a plus.

Responsibilities
