About The Position

With limited direction, the Project Coordinator supports the Programing Department in gathering materials, resources, and information to implement Library programs. Activities include coordinating tasks, allocating resources, and creating a structured workflow under the guidance of the Area Resource Managers (ARMs). The Coordinator collaborates with the Area Resource Managers and team to produce in-depth program analysis reports for all library locations, providing quantitative and qualitative data for reporting purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in job experience
  • Three to five years of experience
  • Valid Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service and experience with large scale program implementation and design is preferred
  • Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supports workflow management for programs and events including reserving space, logistical support, ticketing, material packing, submitting translation requests, and other event-specific duties.
  • Consults, responds, informs and coordinates effectively with both internal and external customers, clients, or service providers via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Creates, compiles, and provides data analysis including compiling program attendance, conducting research, preparing reports, and designing data presentations.
  • Provides administrative support including area records retention and maintenance, communicating with internal and external customers, maintaining our internal shared files, and preparing documents and presentations.
  • Actively participates in meetings by taking notes, identifying, and addressing potential problems, and providing updates on project status and milestones.
  • Assists with interviewing, task planning, and supervising volunteers utilizing appropriate software and procedures.
  • Assists in the day-to-day operations of the office.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using appropriate software including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva, Airtable or other software.
  • Able to cope with daily job-related stress.
  • Able to work the normally scheduled work time for this position.
