About The Position

Strata-G is seeking an experienced, mid-career Project Controls Specialist with heavy scheduling experience. The role involves project controls work, including managing schedules in a classified environment and applying project controls practices related to scope, time, cost, and change management. The position is a 6–12 month contract based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in project or construction management, business, engineering, or a related field, and at least 7 years of relevant experience; an equivalent combination of education, experience, and specialized training will be considered.
• Experience managing a schedule in a classified environment.
• Basic understanding of project controls best practices for scope, time, cost, and change management.
• Basic understanding of DOE Order 413.3b and EIA-748-compliant earned value management (EVM).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera (P6), change control applications, and custom system and report development.

Nice To Haves

• At least 7 years successfully performing project-controls-like duties on projects within the DOE or DOD.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with risk management and risk analysis and simulation software.
• Five years of project experience working within an EIA-748-compliant EVMS environment.
• Experience training others on project management principles or tools, specifically CAM training.
