About The Position

This is an intermediate-level position in the Project Controls classification hierarchy. The role is responsible for initiating and completing routine aspects of project control assignments with general oversight. The successful candidate applies fundamental project controls principles and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied, and understands associated project controls software.

Requirements

• Graduation from a four-year college or university in accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of project controls experience.
• Working knowledge of project controls principles.
• Working knowledge to proficiency with project management and project controls concepts and computer applications, including scheduling software, financial tools, and spreadsheets.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team member.

Nice To Haves

• PMI or AACE certification, such as PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with software such as MS Project, Primavera, Business Objects, Passport, MS Office Suite, Prolog, Visio, Powerplant, Emax, and PeopleSoft.
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with individuals at varying levels in different organizations and with project teams of external suppliers and vendors.
