About The Position

This is the intermediate level of the Project Controls classification hierarchy. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and completing routine aspects of project control assignments with general oversight. The candidate will effectively apply fundamental project controls principles and procedures to work that is complex and varied, with a strong understanding of associated project controls software.

Requirements

• Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of project controls experience.
• Working knowledge of project controls principles.
• Working knowledge to proficiency with project management and project controls concepts and computer applications such as scheduling software, financial tools, and spreadsheets.
• Proven collaborative team member.

Nice To Haves

• PMI or AACE certification (PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with software such as MS Project, Primavera, Business Objects, Passport, MS Office Suite, Prolog, Visio, Powerplant, Emax, and PeopleSoft.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at varying levels across various organizations, including project teams of external suppliers and vendors.
