About The Position

The Project Controls Specialist is an entry-level position responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the administrative and financial aspects of projects to help ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The specialist monitors, analyzes, and optimizes project performance while working closely with project managers and other key stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field.
• Zero to one year of experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills to facilitate project progress and decision-making.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and communicate complex project data.
• Ability to interface with external stakeholders, including engineering firms, equipment vendors, and construction contractors.
• Ability to work in a multifaceted environment and multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Oracle experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts; track actual costs against plans and perform variance analysis.
• Create and update project schedules, track progress, and identify schedule risks.
• Maintain the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of project data by inputting, maintaining, and verifying data and financials in the Oracle system.
• Prepare and monitor project performance metrics, including progress reports and dashboards, to track progress for stakeholders and management and identify areas for improvement.
