About The Position

Eichleay is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to support small and mid-size capital projects within a larger program environment. This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys turning complex project information into clear schedules, early risk signals, and practical recovery plans. If you are the person project teams rely on to bring structure, foresight, and accountability to execution, this role gives you the opportunity to be a key scheduling partner to project managers, clients, procurement teams, subcontractors, and engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years in scheduling and/or cost controls
  • Minimum 3+ years supporting engineering projects in oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering deliverables, procurement, permitting, construction, commissioning, and stage-gate approvals.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills with ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Travel to local clients will be required and can be at least one day per week for meetings. Travel outside the area is expected to be minimal, less than 10%
  • HHFT Safety Training and current card or ability to obtain.
  • Client Safety Training and current badge or ability to obtain.
  • TWIC Certification and current card or ability to obtain. TWIC card must be obtained prior to start date or start date may need to be adjusted.
  • Background screening including previous employment, education, criminal history, and driving record verification.
  • Participation in random drug and alcohol programs.
  • Authorization to work in the US without the need for sponsorship.
  • Ability to be badged and maintain a badge as a safety sensitive position and/or within the Building and Construction trade for process safety management governed facilities.
  • In-depth drug screening for all positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (PSP, PMP, AACEi) preferred.
  • Working in a senior or lead scheduling position supporting engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain fully resourced, logic-linked project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Coordinate Interactive Planning (IAP) sessions to establish baseline schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, report milestones, and analyze schedule performance against baselines.
  • Identify and communicate critical path risks, providing early warnings and recovery plans.
  • Prepare KPI reports, S-curves, and histograms for management.
  • Lead schedule risk analysis workshops and ensure adherence to client standards.
  • Act as the focal point for project managers, clients, subcontractors, and procurement teams for scheduling.
  • Support change management processes and ensure compliance with client-specific guidelines.
  • Host project controls meetings covering schedule and progress.
  • Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
