About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager for Capital Projects to oversee all aspects of projects within the pharmaceutical industry, focusing on planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up. This role requires ensuring project activities adhere to domestic and international regulatory requirements, anticipating resource needs, and developing effective solutions for project issues to achieve scientific, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives. The position involves assisting with technical, financial, and organizational challenges, identifying and mitigating potential schedule delays, and implementing tools and processes for informed decision-making. All project work must comply with company practices, policies, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• At least eight (8) years of previous exposure managing capital projects in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experienced with RFP process
• Experienced with design firms’ management
• Experience with manufacturing, packaging processes and equipment, clean rooms design and facilities improvements
• Proven GMP project delivery experience
• Bilingual: Spanish and English (good communications)
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• At least eight (8) years of experience managing capital projects within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing.
• Experience supporting OSD manufacturing processes including granulation, blending, compression, coating, encapsulation, packaging, and material handling systems.
• Experience managing equipment installation, facility upgrades, manufacturing process improvements, and technology transfer projects.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of projects including planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up.
• Ensure project activities adhere to domestic and international regulatory requirements and approved guidelines within the area of responsibility.
• Anticipate and communicate resource needs to management and project sponsors.
• Evaluate project issues and develop effective solutions to achieve scientific, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.
• Assist with technical, financial, and organizational challenges by researching issues, providing recommendations, and maintaining document archives.
• Identify and anticipate potential schedule delays or changes, analyzing their cost and resource impact.
• Implement tools, techniques, and processes to generate information that enables informed decision-making within project teams.
• Ensure all project work complies with company practices, policies, and standard operating procedures.
