The successful delivery of hyperscale data centers and mission-critical infrastructure requires more than exceptional construction execution. It requires disciplined project controls, accurate forecasting, proactive risk management, schedule visibility, cost transparency, and actionable performance reporting. Strong project controls provide the foundation for informed decision-making and successful project outcomes. At Michels Infrastructure Solutions (MIS), we deliver some of North America's largest and most complex mission-critical and hyperscale infrastructure projects. As the general contracting and EPC delivery arm of Michels, MIS leverages the self-perform capabilities of the Michels Family of Companies to execute every phase of construction, from site development and utilities through power infrastructure, commissioning, and project closeout. Our teams support leading technology companies and developers by delivering the critical infrastructure required to power cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital connectivity. Known for tackling challenging scopes, aggressive schedules, and complex project environments, MIS combines the resources of a national EPC contractor with the accountability, agility, and hands-on leadership needed to successfully deliver world-class mission-critical facilities. Position Overview As a Project Controls Manager, you will lead project controls activities supporting large-scale hyperscale data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for overseeing cost management, forecasting, budgeting, scheduling integration, progress measurement, risk management, reporting, and project performance analysis throughout the project lifecycle. This role serves as a critical partner to project management, construction leadership, engineering, procurement, scheduling, accounting, and executive leadership teams. You will provide the visibility and analytics necessary to support decision-making, manage risk, improve forecasting accuracy, and ensure projects are positioned for successful delivery. Success requires strong analytical capabilities, financial acumen, organizational leadership, and a deep understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction execution processes.
